Emma Watson would make an excellent Shallan Davar, but we don't know if it's because she is perfect for the role, or if we just love her that much.

Emma Stone has the perfect personality to play both the shy Shallan and the more confident spunky Shallan that we have all grown to love.

Jasnah Kholin

For me the question of Jasnah Kolin is easy. It's a 35-ish Jennifer Connelly. She's a Dark-hair-Light-eyed beauty with the poise and baring of royalty.

Yvonne Strahovski

Another fun choice is Yvonne Strahovski. She would have to color her hair, but she can do the intense and regal Jasnah Kholin as well as most anyone. Those who prefer Jennifer Connelly as Navani Kholin will often choose Ynonne as their Jasnah.

Morena Baccarin

Morena Baccarin is another fun choice for Jasnah. I don't know a lot about her, but she was stunning in Firefly and perhaps prettier in Dead Pool. She seems a bit more "meek" than the Jasnah I see, but she certainly has the look and perhaps I just haven't seen her in a comparable role yet.

Demi Moore

A 35-ish Demi Moore is another good choice for Jasnah. I think she's an interesting choice for Navani Kohlin again, but merits consideration for Jasnah (Navani's daughter).

Sylphrena aka Syl

Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell is the perfect Syl. There really has never been an argument for anyone else ever. When you read the book you see Kristen in the pages. She's perfect!

Jennifer Love has been a hometown favorite for all of my life. While we feel that Kristen has the role of Syl locked down pretty tight, a young Jennifer love is just cute enough to pull it off as well.

Kristen Bell is the perfect Syl. There really has never been an argument for anyone else ever. When you read the book you see Kristen in the pages. Spunk, honor, adorableness, she's got it all!

Emma Watson can do about anything in our eyes. She's not our first choice for Syl, but merits a discussion.

Russell Crow seems like the obvious choice for Dalinar Kholin. He looks right and practically sounds right. It's all but perfect.

Adrian Paul

I've never heard of Adrian Paul, but he really does have an interesting look for Dalinar.

Gerard Butler

Um... Black Thorn...

Clearly. Who would be better at Black Thorning it up than ol' crazy mouth himself?!

Clive Owen

Clive Owen doesn't seem tough enough to play Dalinar to me... but then I don't know him or his work very well.

Wit or Hoid

Paul Bettany

Hoid has got to be played by one of the best, most capable people out there. The actor has to have a good sense of humor, but be someone who we can easily believe cares. While this character more than many others is still up in the air, I think Paul Bettany would make a great Wit.

Tom Hiddleston

Perhaps we have not seen the element of caring that we would need to occasionally see from Wit, but Tom Hiddleston is an interesting actor that could make a compelling Hoid.

Torol Sadeas

Mel Gibson

Well the Semi-Good guy morally flexible Torol Sadeas could be masterfully done by Mel Gibson. Remember, that Sadeas was once an exceptional hero and acts as the king's chief aid. I think there's substance here.
